No moon in the sky. I had difficulty with seeing tonight. I used the Jones Bird to find and verify the position of M40 then used the Apogee to find it again five minutes later. Disappointing object…double star about 1/5th the way past HIP 60212 on a line from Megrez. The double was easy to split at 110-120x.

No moon. Most difficult object! Faint nebulosity seen with both eps; but no detail what so ever. Needs very dark skies to be seen and Chesterfield isn't helping…my tax dollars at work!
