Four of my SCC students, and four of Stacey's, showed up to work on observing projects.  Although a few clouds, it was a great night, like 4/9.   Gotta love the dark of the Moon.  We got four planets:  Saturn, Mars, Venus, and Mercury, which was a little skinnier than half phase.  We said goodbye to the winter constellations.  Enjoyed the last good week for M1 the Crab Nebula, galaxies M81 and 82 in Ursa Major, and M42 the Orion Nebula.  Unfortunately, M79, a globular cluster in Lepus, got too low to observe, but M3 in CVN is rising.  And as usual, lots of open clusters to enjoy.
