Personal Observing

Ed and I enjoyed a Saturday night for personal observing out at the Broemmelsiek Park Astronomy Site.

We used the 16" Jones Bird reflector and took a tour of DSO's appropriate for a Moon--less summer evening. My favorite: M94, a spiral galaxy in Canes Venetici. Magnitude 8.2, kind of low on the horizon at 11pm, but definitely viewable!
