Want to convert your mount to push to?  Try Dave Ek's Digital Setting Circles

Dave Ek's Digital Setting Circles page:

Things you'll need:

http://eksfiles.net/digital-setting-circles/  or Google Dave Ek

There are two different versions:  Serial and USB

When you go to his page you'll find :

FTDI TTL-232R-5V cable:

A special USB cable that connects the circuit board to your computer.  You'll need it if you build the USB version.  $20

Encoders for the two axis:

Optical Encoders:

Ek  usually encourage builders to choose encoders that result in somewhere between 4000 and 10000 encoder tics/rev, factoring in any gearing or pulley systems that are used to connect the encoders to the telescope.

US Digital (source for optical encoders):
http://www.usdigital.com/  ($75)

Sky Commander page for prices that shows US optical encoder for $55:

  Capacitance base encoders:

DigiKey info:  (AMT102)--currently on backorder ($23.63)

Automation Technology $27.36 and shipping

There is also a version available for $40 that includes a cable to connect the encoder to the board (five pin connector on one end and bare wires on the other).

FAR Circuits for the board:

Everything you need except an 18 pin header including a preprogrammed PIC16F84 microcontroller.
