Astronomy is a very rich, and deep, subject. Books are still a choice way to learn more but there are so many books that we believe it would be helpful to learn what others have found to be particularly good or useful. In this section we hope to bring such tips, tidbits and reviews to the attention of members. All members are encouraged to report on their favorite books here for the benefit of all.
These days, with the many forms of electronic readers (Kindle, Nook, etc) many interesting and useful astronomy books are available for free on the Internet and can even be attached to these pages for others benefit. It is worth noting that both of these appliances (Kindle and Nooks, maybe others?) have free readers that can be downloaded and installed in home computers - one doesn't have to buy the appliance to take advantage of the many free books out there.
