Two ASEM members received Astronomical League Observing Awards at the December 2012 General Meeting.

ASEM's Astronomical League Award Coordinator Jim Twellman presents Grant Martin a certificate and pin for the Deep Sky Binocular Program. The program requires finding sixty deeps sky objects with binoculars.

ASEM's Astronomical League Award Coordinator Jim Twellman presents Steve Boerner a certificate and pin for the Double Star Program. The program requires finding one hundred double stars with a telescope.

Steve also received a recognition for the Stellar Level of the Outreach Program.
