Open House at Broemmelsiek Observatory

posted Aug 7, 2009, 9:53 AM by James Roe
The first (of many, many) public open houses at the Broemmelsiek Observatory will be Friday, August 7, 2009 starting at dark.  We intend to host regular open houses at the observatory EVERY Friday night from now on (weather permitting, of course).  The event is free and open to the public and will be staffed by volunteers from ASEM.  The observatory is located at Schwede Road and Wilson Road in central St. Charles County.  Driving instructions:  Head South on Highway DD from the Winghaven Exit on US 40/61/I64 to the intersection with Schwede Road - about 4.0 miles.  Turn West on Schwede and go about 3/4 mile West.  Look for sign on right side of road.
