We will have an ASEM Family Picnic on Saturday, July 25, 2009.  We will meet at Picnic Shelter #2 in Broemmelsiek Park (see map below).  We will start abut 3:00 pm (you can come earlier if you want, as we will have the shelter all day) and eat about 6:00 pm.  The Club will furnish pork steaks for the adults and hot dogs for the kids.  We need volunteers to bring potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, bread, salads, desserts, chips, etc.  Please call Yvonne at 314-757-1242 to coordinate ASAP.  Please call Jim at 636-357-7658 to reserve your spot.  We need to know how many adults and children to purchase the meat.  Please let Jim know NO LATER than Wednesday, July 22.  This is a member-only event.  If you want/need to bring a guest(s), contact Jim privately.

The picnic is the same day as the public star gazing event across the street at the Astronomy Viewing Site so we will adjourn over there about sunset to prepare for the public.
